I was asked by a friend a little while ago if I could make a hat for her little girl, ready for the colder weather.
She had seen a picture of one she liked so I knew what I was aiming for and I have to say I’m really pleased with the way it came out!
Emma loves it too and keeps sneaking off with it to put it on, so I have a feeling I’ll be making another one this evening!

I know some of you have waited the best part of a year for this tutorial. I hope it’s worth the wait!
I have made a few little improvements to the pattern which I have now reflected in the original post (I will be leaving the written pattern post up for those who don’t require the photo tutorial).
So…. Are you ready for a really photo heavy tutorial? (I am so NOT kidding!)
