I have become mildly obsessed with instagram (a phone photo-editing app for those who don’t know!). It is so much quicker and easier to snap a picture on a phone these days than to lug the DSLR out all the time (particularly with a baby on one arm)… and instagram… well it’s just fun!

a day trip & a new post at last

I’ve been in a bit of a blogging funk lately. Every time I try to sit and write a new post something else comes up or my mind goes blank (between you and me I don’t think I ever recovered from pregnancy induced ‘baby brain’!)

I know my trouble is an inability to focus on one task at a time. Consequently I have a whole array of ‘works in progress’ and plenty more ideas just willing themselves to be started. I really must start finishing a project before starting something new!

Perhaps that will be my next post, I’ll give you a glimpse into the variety of half-finished/just started projects I have going at the moment.

Anyway I’ve been writing this post on and off for a fortnight now so here it is finally!

a stroll in the park

This was originally going to be a crochet post but yesterday we went on an impromptu outing and I thought I’d share it with you.

The weather was so sunny and lovely here I couldn’t bare the thought of us being stuck indoors all day. So after dropping Vince off at work Emma and I stopped of at the beautiful nearby park.

We strolled, explored, admired, sat and played. It was almost perfect, we were just missing daddy. But it was wonderful mummy and baby time!
