a breath of autumn air
Oh dear, it’s been a strange week here. Vince and I had both been feeling a bit run down and out of sorts this last week, I think it’s because neither of us had been sleeping very well (not because of Emma, she sleeps like a star). Then on Tuesday both Emma and I woke up with horrible colds 🙁
Vince is fine though. He maintains that he only gets one cold a year and as he’s already had it he has nothing to worry about (I don’t subscribe to this theory but we’ll see). He is also sleeping soundly again and for the last two days has sneaked off with Emma for an afternoon nap! Not that I’m jealous. Or bitter. Or otherwise resentful of his rest and good health. Can’t you tell?
Well today was back to work and routine for us all and I decided that perhaps some air would do Emma and I some good. So we took Vince to work, filled our pockets with tissues, and went for a stroll through the park.
a stroll in the park
This was originally going to be a crochet post but yesterday we went on an impromptu outing and I thought I’d share it with you.
The weather was so sunny and lovely here I couldn’t bare the thought of us being stuck indoors all day. So after dropping Vince off at work Emma and I stopped of at the beautiful nearby park.
We strolled, explored, admired, sat and played. It was almost perfect, we were just missing daddy. But it was wonderful mummy and baby time!
