Just a quick short and sweet post tonight… but I finally get to share my african flower project with you all! This is what I made my niece for her 1st birthday which was on Thursday.
I love it! I mean really love it! I am so pleased with the way it turned out, for a while I was seriously doubting my “a purple giraffe would look awesome” decision but I’m not now 🙂
The pattern is Jedi the Curious Giraffe from the oh so talented Heidi Bears. I have had her Hippo pattern on my wish list for an age…. and now I want to make them all… I’m sure Emma would love an african flower animal zoo right?!
Heidi’s pattern was brilliant, so clear, how-to’s of every step and excellent photo’s to check you are headed in the right direction… literally!
On that note joining motifs late at night and half asleep is not helpful… there will be frogging.
I love crochet! <3
Have you made any of Heidi Bears patterns?
