Happy Monday!
I hope you all had a lovely weekend! I rather enjoyed mine, but then it was my birthday on Saturday so I was celebrating turning 24 🙂
It’s time for another HHM post, linking up with the lovely Sandra over at Diary of a Stay at Home Mom.
The Weather::
It’s a miserable Monday here today, very grey, raining on and off with a definite chill in the air. On the plus side I think Autumn is here! 🙂
Right now I am::
Writing this post while Emma plays with her blocks on the floor, trying to fight the urge to dose off!
Thinking::
I need to motivate myself to get on! There are things to be done today but all I seem to want to do is snuggle on the sofa and watch a disney film!
On my reading pile::
(This hasn’t changed since last week!)
Lark Rise by Flora Thompson has somehow been put on hold again :/
I still have Oink! My Life With Minipigs by Matt Whyman to get to aswell.
On my TV::
Who Do You Think You Are?
Surburgatory
Britains Big Wildlife Revival
Hate to admit it but I watch X Factor too :/ LOL
On the menu for this week::
Monday –Â Â Black Bean burgers & homemade rolls, salad
Tuesday –Â Lentil with Parsnip & Apple Soup
Wednesday – Fish Pie & Runner Beans
Thursday – Leftovers
Friday – Homemade Pizza Pies
Saturday – Homemade Pasta
Sunday – Jacket Potatoes
On my to do list::
Laundry! Bleurgh!
Call O2 (I really really have to do this!….still)
Do the grocery shopping today and reset the weekly budget
Visit the library with Emma
In the craft basket::
Finishing up my scarf, working on something new to sell and possibly a little order.
Looking forward to this week::
Having Vince around the house a bit more than last week as his shifts are more spread out this week 🙂 Not having to go anywhere in the car particularly!
Looking around the house::
I really need to get the washing up done in the kitchen, the front room has Emma’s toys scattered about where she’s playing. I need to straighten out the dining room a bit. Could be worse overall though!
From the camera::
I spent my birthday with family and we went for a walk in an orchard… these plums fell into my bag…
Bible verse, Devotional::
Damascus has become feeble, she has turned to flee and panic has gripped her; anguish and pain have seized her, pain like that of a woman in labor.
I love those days or weeks when you don’t have to go anywhere in the car. I get really tired of running here and running there. Your menu looks delicious by the way. Have a blessed week & happy belated birthday!
Yesterday was a crazy busy day, I drove around all day long lol
Everything on the menu looks yummy but I have to tell you, the fish pie is making me drool.
Hope you have a great week 🙂
