Happy Monday!!!
This week is the start of normal routine for us, Vince is back to work and won’t have any holiday now till Christmas (on the plus side December isn’t too far away now, YAY!). This week is also the start of a new budget for us (see here) so I’m doing my best to keep all thoughts positive right now.
It’s time for another HHM post, linking up with the lovely Sandra over at Diary of a Stay at Home Mom.
The Weather::
It is currently gorgeous blue skies and sunshine overhead again and it looks set to stay that way at least until Thursday again which is brilliant I can’t believe the weather we’re having! Highs of 22C/72F. Although truth be told I’m ready for a little autumn chill now 🙂
Right now I am::
Finishing a cup of tea, writing this post, watching Vince trying to get Emma dressed for the day.
Thinking::
About what needs doing today, possibly going to pick some more blackberries, whether we’re going to leave on time (in 10 minutes) for Vince’s appointment. (Edit: We left on time and were early!!! This is unheard of for us lol)
On my reading pile::
Lark Rise by Flora Thompson has somehow been put on hold again :/
I still have Oink! My Life With Minipigs by Matt Whyman to get to aswell.
On my TV::
Who Do You Think You Are?
Surburgatory
Britains Big Wildlife Revival
On the menu for this week::
(We went seriously off menu last week so this is largely the same)
Monday – Chicken Pot Pie, Runner Beans
Tuesday – Homemade Tagliatelle
Wednesday – Surprise meal being cooked by the hubby!
Thursday – Black Bean burgers & homemade rolls, salad
Friday – Lemony Chickpea Casserole
Saturday – Macaroni Cheese
Sunday – Lentil with Parsnip & Apple Soup
On my to do list::
More laundry
Call O2 (I really really have to do this!)
Form a list of predicted expenses for Oct/Nov/Dec that aren’t bills
In the craft basket::
A scarf I’m crocheting as a present to myself 🙂 I haven’t started anything else at the moment.
Looking forward to this week::
Getting back in to the swing of normal routine and my birthday on Saturday of course!
Looking around the house::
I really need to get the washing up done in the kitchen, the front room as usual has Emma’s toys scattered about but it’s not so bad. I guess a general household tidy is needed but it just looks lived in really 🙂
From the camera::
Bible verse, Devotional::
For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons,neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:38&39 NIV
All I’ve got to say is you all actually got somewhere on time !!!!!! I think I need to sit down for a minute feeling a little faint. Lol xx
