Happy Monday!!!
I can’t believe it’s Monday already, I’m not quite sure where my weeks are disappearing too at the moment. On a better note it’s my 25th HHM post (albeit not consecutively lol) but still I’m pretty happy about it 🙂
So onto todays HHM, linking up with the lovely Sandra from Diary of a Stay at Home Mom.
The Weather::
Todays weather doesn’t look great. It has been mostly overcast all day with a few sunny moments 🙂
Right now I am::
Writing this post while vaguely watching Doctor Who reruns.
Thinking::
That I really want to make some progress on my new crochet design before Emma wakes up.
On my reading pile::
Same as last week Lark Rise by Flora Thompson is still on my bedside table feeling unloved but I’m determined to have read it before the month is out!
On my TV::
The White Queen on BBC1 and Suburgatory on E4.
On the menu for this week::
Monday – Chilli Tortilla Wraps
Tuesday – Toad in the Hole (Never had this last week)
Wednesday – Fish Chowder
Thursday – *Pay Day/Menu Planning*
Friday –
Saturday – Out for Dinner
Sunday –
On my to do list::
Finish up the menu planning
Do more laundry of course!
Clean out the car
Start organising bits for our trip next week
In the craft basket::
A new wearable little crochet design I’m working on.
Looking forward to this week::
The 5th anniversary of our first date on Thursday!!! Also going to our friends wedding on Saturday 🙂
Looking around the house::
There are a few dishes from lunch to be washed up, but dinner is cooking away in the slow cooker. The clean laundry is all folded and sorted just needs to be put away. The front room is actually not looking too untidy although I do need to run the hoover round.
From the camera::
A little look at my latest crochet project.
Bible verse, Devotional::
For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.
Your crochet project looks so pretty. Is it a little baby shawl or am I way off? LOL
Have a great week.
You’re not way off at all! It will (hopefully) be a little cardigan for my toddler 🙂 x
Our payday and grocery list day are the same!
We also celebrate the anniversary of our first date, March 18 🙂

Our payday and grocery shopping is also on Thursday lol
You have a yummy looking menu, the chili tortilla wraps sound so good.
Hope you have a great week 🙂
Wow, I’m with everybody else who has payday and grocery day on Thursday. Hahaha!
The cardigan that you are working on is adorable! I’ve never attempted to crochet anything like that, but it is awfully cute. Someday, I may have to give it a try.
Hope you had a happy Monday and a have a nice week.
