Happy Monday!!!
It’s a late one again! But it is better late than never!
So onto todays HHM, linking up with the lovely Sandra from Diary of a Stay at Home Mom.

The Weather::
Todays weather hasn’t been great. It has been overcast all day with random rain showers until this afternoon when it thundered and threw it down. Not cold though so grateful for small mercies 🙂
Right now I am::
Writing this post while vaguely watching Food Unwrapped and listening to my Emma gently snoring over the monitor.
Thinking::
Wondering what time my hubby will get in from work tonight, I’m hopeful it will be before 11pm. Also thinking I need a drink!
On my reading pile::
Lark Rise by Flora Thompson is still on my bedside table feeling unloved but I’m determined to have read it before the month is out!
On my TV::
Food Unwrapped on C4 and The White Queen on BBC1 but thats about it.
On the menu for this week::
Monday – Spaghetti Bolognese
Tuesday – River Cobbler Fish Cakes, Peas & Crusty Bread
Wednesday – Toad in the Hole & Runner Beans
Thursday – *Pay Day/Menu Planning*
Friday –
Saturday –
Sunday –
On my to do list::
Finish up the menu planning
Do more laundry of course!
Visit the library
Order trip supplies
Sort through Emma’s out grown clothes (OK this mountain of clothes is making me want to run away & hide. I can’t motivate myself to deal with it!)
In the craft basket::
Nothing! 😮 This will be remedied before tomorrow though 🙂
Looking forward to this week::
Organising a fun family trip to celebrate the hubby and I having been together for 5 years this month!
Looking around the house::
I need to pick up Emma’s toys from the front room floor before Vince gets home and the dinner dishes are yet to be done. Otherwise the house isn’t too bad, just dark and quiet this evening. Looking forward to the Mr being home for two days now.
From the camera::
Our first Runner Beans from the garden!
Bible verse, Devotional::
Now listen, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go to this or that city, spend a year there, carry on business and make money.” Why, you do not even know what will happen tomorrow.
What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes.
Instead, you ought to say, “If it is the Lord’s will, we will live and do this or that.” As it is, you boast in your arrogant schemes. All such boasting is evil.
If anyone, then, knows the good they ought to do and doesn’t do it, it is sin for them. James 4:13-17 NIV
came over from the happy homemaker linky. I have needed to go through my little ones clothes for weeks now and I just keep putting it off. I have to do it before school starts though so we wont be fighting over what can be worn and what doesnt fit in the morning rush to get out the door, and I hope to list them on craigslist to help defray the cost of some new pants for him, none of those fit this year. hope you have a good week. beth
