happy homemaker monday #21

Happy Monday!!!

It has been a while since I last did one of these posts hasn’t it! But as I’ve been a very happy homemaker this morning it seemed the right time to start again 🙂

The Weather::

It is still beautiful! I can’t believe how blessed we’ve been with the weather this last week and now this week too! Especially having Vince at home! We are expecting highs of 24C/75F today 🙂

Right now I am::

Writing this post and watching Emma and Vince play with her ‘In The Night Garden’ toys.

Thinking::

About what I’m going to make us for lunch today and wondering where my glasses are LOL

On my reading pile::

Nothing but my Bible at the moment.

On my TV::

Nothing really, we are watching considerably less television at the moment. Although we will tune in for the Apprentice final on Wednesday hopefully.

On the menu for this week::

Tonight we are having a mini BBQ for the 3 of us, but we are out Tuesday and Wednesday and I haven’t planned past that point yet!

On my to do list::

Make a menu plan for the rest of the week
Make a shopping list
Call O2
Keep weeding the garden
Do more laundry LOL

In the craft basket::

I am crocheting some more colourful dish cloths and I am currently making Emma another sun hat. She grows so quickly but hopefully this will last at least the rest of summer 🙂

Looking forward to this week::

Taking Emma to Drusillas with my brother, his partner and my adorable nephew tomorrow!
Taking Emma to see her nan (Vince’s mum) on Wednesday who we haven’t seen in some time.
Also hoping that our new baby niece might arrive into the world this week!

Looking around the house::

Emma and Vince are now stretched out on the front room floor but it has been hoovered this morning so it’s ok LOL! The dining room has been cleared up after breakfast and is ready for me to sew Emma’s hat. The kitchen is shining in the morning sun, I have washed the breakfast dishes and they are drying on the rack and the floor has been swept. All I can hear is the washing machine spinning and the seagulls outside 🙂
