Happy Monday!
Hello all, how are you? I hope you have all had a wonderful weekend! Due to my husbands shift pattern for us our weekend is just starting… and it’s not raining! So I’m quite happy this morning! I hope your Monday is a good one ๐
P.S. For those who may have missed it, I have opened a little shop for a few of my crochet things! Please take a look ๐
The Weather ::
It looks as though it might be a sunny day today! It might even be as warm as 9ยฐC / 48ยฐF!
On my reading pile ::
I keep meaning to start a new book but with one thing and another I never seem to manage it.
On my TV ::
This week I’ll be watching…
Miranda – BBC1
Africa – BBC1
Call The Midwife – BBC1
Silent Witness – BBC1
On the menu this week ::
Monday – Chicken Goujons with mashed potatoes & peas
Tuesday – Vegetable Curry
Wednesday – Paprika Pork
Thursday – Butternut Risotto
Friday – Roasted Cauliflower Soup
Saturday – *new menu plan*
Sunday – ย Dinner with family
On my to do list this week ::
Laundry.ย Always.
Post various birthday cards.
Make a birthday pressie.
List another few items in the shop.
Go swimming as a family.
What I am sewing, crocheting or creating ::
I am nearly finished on a pair of crochet mittens for the shop. I am about to start a whole new craft today for a birthday present if it goes well! I’ll fill you in if it all works out ๐ (find it here)
Looking around the house ::
There are some breakfast dishes that need washing up. Vince and Emma are playing on the living room floor together. The house is pretty tidy just toddler toys and paraphernalia hanging about. I have some flowers that need arranging onto jugs & vases that my lovely hubby bought home last night. We are all about to get ready for a walk into town now as Vince is home for 3 days! Woohoo!
ย My last photo ::
An instagram snap of my nutella stained daughter lol!
Bible Verse, Devotional ::
“We say ‘all we can do now is pray’ like prayer is the last kid picked in dodge ball.That’s so dumb because prayer is not a last resort. Prayer is a nuclear weapon. Joshua prayed 13 words and called the sun to stand still in the sky.โ ~ Steven Furtick
LOVE your devotional thought!!!! So true!
I love Nutella too … and potentially often look as covered in it as your little one. ๐
I just tried to post a comment, but for some reason I don’t think it posted. If this posts twice I am truly sorry. I don’t know if it’s a blogger thing or my computer, but this has now happened to me twice today. Yikes. LOL
I love your devotional quote. It rings so true!
I also love your menu plan for the week, looks very yummy!
Congratulations on your shop as well, there is nothing like homemade goods! It’s wonderful having them around the house, or just knowing that other people will be using them in their own homes.
Hope you have a good week! ๐
Your daughter is darling!!
Love that Nutella face, she is so cute ๐
Your menu sounds delicious. Hope you have a wonderful week and a fun time with your baby and hubby.
