I have lots of love in my life at the moment.
Today is my blogs first birthday! I love this little corner of the web that’s mine, primarily because now I already have a years worth of memories to go back and read and I can’t wait to make more so that Emma can read (and hopefully enjoy!) them in the future. I also love being able to share and be inspired by so much creativity within the blogging world, it has been such a pleasure getting to know so many wonderful like-minded bloggers from all over the world 🙂 Hopefully this next year will bring even more of this.
Today also marks my little Emma being 13 months old. The first post I wrote for this blog was about my tiny newborn girl and now she is a cheeky, clever, walking toddler. (The walking is a very recent occurrence but I can’t get a picture of it for anything!)
The other sort of love in my life is the Valentines kind. After taking down the Christmas decorations and packing them away I felt our front room felt ever so bare and needed something to fill the void. It’s still too early for Easter and Spring themes so I thought a little loved up Valentines decor would do the trick. Enter my crochet hearts!
I strung the hearts together on a length of crochet chain to make a little length of bunting for above our fireplace. What do you think? I love it and even Vince quite likes it!
The mantelpiece is still a work in progress though. So far it’s just got a few of my candles and a framed print.
I love this scripture, it is the perfect Valentine message I think. I made this myself after seeing the idea about on pinterest in various colours and designs but none that were quite right for me. If you like it you can download a 5″ x 7″ copy of the PDF by clicking here.
I hope you are all feeling the love in your lives at the moment too! Be assured you are loved by me for stopping by and indulging my ramblings about our life 🙂
I would love have the download for the John 3;16. Thank you
Hi Betsy, I’ve included a download link in the post for you. If there are any problems let me know and I’ll email it to you 🙂 xx
Found you through Pinterest (of course 🙂 ). Thank you for sharing your work. I’m including this in a bulletin board of verses on love for my kids. Ok, bulletin board is a nice way of saying some paper on the wall, but you get the idea. Thanks again.
