How have you been? We’ve been suffering all kinds of colds and bugs here. Very unpleasant.
I had managed to avoid it all until today, I woke up this morning with another awful head cold. *sigh*
It’s a bit late but I’ve only just found the time and energy to sit at the computer and write. Here’s hoping I’m feeling better tomorrow and you’re all feeling much healthier than we are at the moment!
The Weather ::
It has been very grey and very wet here all day. Although it is dark now it is still raining and a mist has rolled in off the sea. The cloud cover does keep the temperature up a little though so it’s been around 12°C/53F today.
On my reading pile ::
I haven’t been doing too much reading recently, between looking after a poorly husband and a poorly baby and crafty things for christmas I haven’t had much time.
On my TV ::
This week I’ll be watching…
Merlin on Saturday
Derren Brown’s Fear & Faith on Friday
On the menu this week ::
Monday – Tortellini
Still no idea for the rest of the week I’ll be doing my menu plans tomorrow.
On my to do list this week ::
Laundry as ever.
Washing down the kitchen floor.
Some phone calls to make to E-On.
What I am sewing, crocheting or creating ::
I have a whole bunch of projects I’m working on at the moment but I’ll be posting about them in a little more detail tomorrow 🙂
Looking around the house ::
The kitchen is clean and the washing up is all done. Emma is sleeping soundly for the first time in days, no more coughing through the night thank goodness! I still need to pick up some of her toys that are littering the front room floor. Waiting for Vince to get home from work and looking forward to crawling into bed!

Bible verse, Devotional ::
My son, pay attention to what I say; turn your ear to my words. Do not let them out of your sight, keep them within your heart; for they are life to those who find them and health to one’s whole body. Proverbs 4:20-22
