Happy Monday Everyone!
I can’t believe this is hhm #4 already, the weeks are just flying past this year, I feel like it will be Christmas before I know it!
Even more scary my baby girl is going to be one year old before I know it! (Excuse me while I go and cry about this!)
Well, thats enough of wishing the year away, on to the here and now…
The Weather ::
Around ten minutes ago it was beautiful blue skies and sunshine outside but it has since turned grey and the temperature has dropped… my hopes of hanging the washing out today seem to be disappearing.

After a week of near obsessive reading I have finished The Hunger Games trilogy! I thoroughly enjoyed it and now I need to see the film! Does anyone know if t is a good adaptation?

On my to do list this week ::
Laundry. Laundry. Laundry!
Still need to sort the dining room properly.
Send out some Save the Date cards for Emma’s birthday tea party.
What I am sewing, crocheting or creating ::
Having finally finished Emma’s quiet book I am now making good progress on a crochet rug for her bedroom. In an ideal world I would also like to sew myself a dress before Sunday but I’m not holding my breath at this point.
ย Looking around the house ::
Vince and Emma are playing together in the front room. I need to turn the washing machine on and start prepping dinner. There is a stack of clean dishes in the kitchen that need putting away too. I have fresh flowers in the kitchen and front room this week looking lovely courtesy of my wonderful husband ๐

I know a lot of people that loved The Hunger Games movie but I was SO disappointed in it. It didn’t keep my interest at all and I just thought the book was about a million times better. But definitely one you should watch to see for yourself!
Gorgeous photo ๐
I think I may be one of the very few who hated the Hunger Games books LOL
I’m also watching Parade’s End, so excited to have another period piece to watch ๐
