Last week Vince and I celebrated being together for four years!
It got me thinking about just how much we’ve achieved in four years and how life will start to slow down for us now. In some ways I can’t wait to get into a steadier, more routined way of life for a few years, but in others I’m a little sad because the last 4 years has seen so much change and excitement for us.
So I thought I would put together a little timeline of the bigger events in our life together so far. Mainly so I can come back and read this in another 4 years time and see what more we’ve done.
15th August 2008 – Vince and I went up to London for the day for our first real date.

December 2009 – We announced our engagement to our families.
17th April 2010 – We moved into our first home together. A lovely little flat in Hastings.
27th September 2010 – Vince goes back to university.
16th April 2011 – Our wedding day!
31st May 2011 – We announce my pregnancy to our families and have our first scan.
17th December 2011 – The birth of our beautiful baby girl, Emma Lois.
11th February 2012 – We all moved into our first house together, with our first garden.
16th April 2012 – Our first wedding anniversary.
22nd June 2012 – Vince graduates from university.
15th August 2012 – The fourth anniversary of our first date.
Such a lot can happen in four years. Actually, I can’t wait for the next four.
