I had a rare opportunity yesterday afternoon to do some pottering in the garden.
I enjoy being in the garden, as does Emma, but she not very often content to watch me do some weeding, she would much rather be exploring with me and looking at all the different sights and smells.
Which is lovely but it means things tend to get a bit wild and out of hand in areas.
Having had a brief tidy of the garden I snapped some photos to see its progress a month down the line.
I still have much to do but I’m enjoying looking at all the colourful things I had blooming in June.
Little flowering herbs, big bold fuschia flowers and my lovely little lavender that attracts lots of bees!
My courgette plants are doing brilliantly I can’t wait till they’re big enough to harvest. I love that Emma’s first taste of courgette will be one we’ve grown! I also think the flowers are lovely, I can’t quite figure why though!
There are also some flowers that creep over our back fence. Some pretty little white flowers but I’m not sure what they are and some honeysuckle. Oh and do you see the lovely blue sky we enjoyed yesterday! Sadly today is much cloudier.
Well I’m off to play with my little girl who is currently experimenting with her voice… cue lots of very loud, high pitch squealing! Hopefully I’ll find a little crochet time aswell, I’m working on some slippers!
I hope you are all enjoying your weekend!

It really does look wonderful! I was in town this morning and a new little shop has opened called Hannah’s
http://www.discoverhannahs.org
This organisation need to raise 8 million pounds a year to fund vital care and support for families from birth with a lifetime support for individuals and families with disabilities.
The shop was so pretty and it had a lovely little crochet and craft area. I asked all about it and they have items donated which they then sell and the money all helps disabled children.
When I see William with his owl and what a happy, healthy, lovely little boy he is I feel inspired to help.
Do you mind if I use your lovely owl pattern to make some toys for this charity.
Kindest Regards Linda
