in Little Family, Things We Do

Post image for family time

I have been thoroughly enjoying this week. Vincent has finally finished his studies at university and has suddenly been around at home alot more. It’s wonderful. Emma and I have so missed him the last month or so.

Emma especially has been loving all the extra time with her daddy and I just adore watching them together.

Wednesday was my mums birthday and we drove up into Kent for a birthday meal with my mum and her partner and my brother and his family. It was a lovely meal and it was even better to spend some time with family.

Just over two years ago Vince and I made the decision to move away and although it was absolutely the right decision and we love where we live, it does mean we don’t get to see family as often as we might like.

I have been working on a little hooky gift for this beautiful little boy. I hadn’t got it finished in time for Wednesday but I am nearly done now. When I’ve finalised the pattern I’ll post it here for you all. Here’s sneaky peek at my progress so far…
